V - The New Charity Created to Engage and Inspire a Million More Young Volunteers Aged 16-25

V is youth led, and is guided by a 20 strong youth advisory board, V20, four of whom sit on the charity’s Board of Trustees. Building on existing infrastructure V will fund organisations across England to deliver thousands of new volunteering opportunities to young people.

V is independent of Government and is central to the framework proposed by the Russell Commission which promised a step change in the diversity, quantity and quality of young people’s volunteering.
