Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Advisory Group

The aim of the VCS Advisory Group is to promote and develop the working partnership between the VCS and the Connexions Service to ensure the provision of quality services to young people in Northumberland.  

Connexions Northumberland VCS Small Grants Fund

With effect from 1st April 2007, the Connexions Northumberland VCS Small Grants Fund was combined with the Northumberland Youth Service Grant Aid Fund. Please see below for the link.

Connexions Northumberland VCS Personal Advisers

VCS youth organisations host VCS Personal Advisers to deliver the Connexions Service to young people who are hard to reach or have been excluded from mainstream services.  

Northumberland Youth Service Grant Aid

The Northumberland Youth Service, in partnership with Connexions Northumberland, offers Grant Aid to the VCS. More information can be found on www.youthworktools.com/northumberland

Millennium Volunteers

Connexions Northumberland, in partnership with Changemakers, offer opportunities for young people aged 16-24 years old to volunteer and achieve the Millennium Volunteers Awards of Excellence.  

V Young Volunteers Charity

V is the new, youth led charity created to engage and inspire young volunteers aged 16-25 years old. V will fund organisations across England to deliver thousands of new volunteering opportunities to young people.
