Parents/Carers of Year 9 students

In Year 9 your son or daughter will be making decisions about the subjects and qualifications they will be studying for in Years 10 and 11.  They'll also need to start thinking about how these choices will affect their future learning and career options.

Parents and Carers of Year 9 Students is a national publication designed to help you support your child. If your child is in Year 9 you should have received a copy. You can also download it or ring 0800 389 3899.

In Year 9 your child will receive two important publications at school.  Choices Year 9 is published by Connexions Northumberland and contains information on their learning choices locally.
