The September Guarantee

Every young person aged 16 or 17 who will be coming to the end of a school or college course this year is guaranteed the offer of a place on an appropriate course at school, college or with a training provider by the end of September. This is called the September Guarantee.  The agreed start date may be after September but should be by the beginning of January.

The offer could be full-time education, an apprenticeship/programme led apprenticeship or e2e.
